Buses from Rhodes Airport with Bus Routes and Times

If you do not wish to take a taxi or hire a car at Rhodes Airport, the public bus is a great option for getting to or from the airport.

Buses which connect Rhodes Airport and Rhodes Town travel numerous times per day, including weekends and public holidays. The cost of a ticket is 2.50 € one way. The bus stop can be found around 300 meters (984 ft) to the left of door one of the Terminal building. It is situated just in front of a small outdoor café. It takes approximately 35 to 40 minutes to arrive at the city of Rhodes from here, depending on traffic. This route includes several stops until the final destination. You can buy your bus ticket directly from the bus driver, who accepts only Euros in cash. There isn’t a bus route directly from Rhodes Airport to the Old Town, but the final stop is only a five-minute walk from the castle, which is located in the heart of the Old Town.

Rhodes City to Airport by Bus

The most central bus station in town is situated on Averof Street, behind the New Markets (Nea Agora) building. You can purchase your ticket from either the bus station kiosk (which has a ticket counter), or from mini-markets or other kiosks.
