Flight Arrivals at Rhodes Airport

When you arrive at Rhodes airport, you’ll be glad to know that there are services available to meet all of your needs. The airport has no air bridges, so you will disembark onto a courtesy bus which will take you to the main terminal building. Arrivals are served in the southern corner of the ground floor, where Customs, Passport Control and the Baggage Reclaim area are located.

There are ATM's conveniently located throughout the airport, and if you haven’t yet got your currency, you’ll be able to do this at the airport. Currency exchange facilities are located in the Arrivals hall and the public section of the airport. These include Onexchange, which is a non-banking organisation affiliated with the Bank of Greece, for currency exchange services throughout Greece.

You can also find tour operator kiosks, and a range of car rental companies at Rhodes Airport. The terminals are located just 8 miles from the city center, which will take you around twenty minutes to drive.

There are also public transport options such as buses and taxis. Buses offer a budget-friendly transport option, costing only 2 Euros and 50 Cents per person. It takes roughly 35 minutes to reach the city center by bus, as many stops are made before the final destination. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the Taxi Station, at the Arrival level of the Terminal. The taxi cabs here are dark blue with white roofs. They are easily recognised, as they also have ‘TAXI’ signs on the top of the car. The taxi service at Rhodes airport operates on a first come first served basis.

If you are hungry or would like a drink on arrival, there are bars, cafes and restaurants to meet your needs. Alternatively, you can visit the kiosks which sell refreshments, souvenirs, magazines and newspapers and even pop art. Should need any medical attention, there are first aid and medical services at the airport which can be accessed upon arrival. If you require accessible services, contact your airline directly before you fly. There are some disability-friendly services at this airport but they are basic and limited.

Lost and found services are available with each airline directly, in case you left something on your flight. Or should you wish to freshen up after a long-haul flight, you will be able to take a shower at the airport lounges mentioned on our departures page. In the near future, after current renovations, there will be even more facilities and services available at Rhodes airport for those arriving to utilise.
